Founder
Erast founded Vilka to help small and mid-sized companies make sense of AI and automation without the noise. In his day-to-day work he implements AI solutions for a mid-sized software company — automating legacy workflows, putting AI security controls in place, and building practical tools that people actually use.
He keeps up with a landscape that changes week by week so his clients don’t have to. At Vilka he brings that same care to organizations that are still behind on AI: simplify the path, show what the technology can really do, and make mundane processes easier so teams can focus on work that matters.
Erast leads every engagement personally. When a project needs a specialist skill, he brings in a trusted collaborator and tells you who they are.
Why Vilka exists.
Many small and mid-sized organizations know AI matters, but the options are loud, the tools keep changing, and it’s hard to know what would actually help. Good technology too often arrives without the care that makes it useful: a clear problem, people who understand it, and someone who stays until it works.
Vilka exists to close that gap. We start with the work and the people doing it. We look for where automation can take the friction out of everyday processes — and we choose the simplest tool that fits. Often that is AI. Sometimes it is a clearer workflow, a better handoff, or a smaller system with no model in it at all.
Erast’s belief is straightforward: most problems have a solution and a workflow. Almost anything repetitive can be automated. That does not mean every answer is AI. We are automation-first, not AI-first. If a simpler change gets you further, we say so.
